Classification Groups

Classification groups act as folders to contain and organize a group of classifications. Click the folder icon at the top of the quantities panel to create your classification group.

Classification groups are a great way to organize your classifications. By creating a classification group (folder), you can efficiently organize a collection of area, linear, and count classifications according to your specific preferences.

To create a classification group, simply click on the folder icon located at the top of the quantities panel.

A window will appear prompting you to name your classification group. Enter a name for your classification and proceed to click on the Save button.

Once the classification group has been created, you will now see the classification group created in your quantities panel.

TIP

Organize your classifications by putting them in classification groups. There are two methods for adding individual classifications to a group:

 

1. Drag and drop the individual classifications into the classification group (folder) to organize them accordingly.

2. Alternatively, just right-click on it, choose Edit, and the classification properties overlay will pop up. From there, you can select the option to assign the classification to a group by clicking on the drop-down menu.
