Deleting a Drawing Page

How to delete a drawing

Deleting a drawing page is a permanent action and will remove the page and all of its associated takeoffs. If you are unsure, consider creating a new set to hold the drawing but don’t delete it.

Delete from Project Menu:

  1. Go to the Project Menu: Deleting is done from the main Project Menu page, not from within the editor

  2. Select the Drawing: Find the drawing page you want to delete in the list and click the checkbox next to it

  3. Click the Delete Icon: A menu will appear at the top of the list. Click “More”, then click the “Delete” icon

  4. Confirm the Action: A warning prompt will appear to confirm that you want to permanently delete the drawing and all its data. Click the final “Delete” button to complete the action

Delete from Drawing Editor:

  1. Click the Drawing Menu Navigator on the top left corner of the Drawing Editor

  2. Select the pages you would like to delete by hitting the checkbox icon

  3. Click on “More” on top of the drawing list, and you will see the “Delete” option

Always double-check which drawing you are deleting, as this action cannot be undone.

Recommendation

In most cases, archiving is the preferred method over deleting. It achieves the goal of cleaning up your drawing list while preserving the data in case it’s needed later.

Only delete a drawing if you are absolutely certain it and all its data are no longer needed.
