Deleting a classification is a significant and often irreversible action.
WARNING: When you delete a classification, you also delete all the takeoffs (areas, lines, and counts) that were placed using it. All that measurement work will be permanently removed from your drawings. If you are collaborating on the set with others, you will delete it for everyone else in this collaboration.
Access the Delete Menu: Hover over the classification and right click.
Select “Delete”: Choose the “Delete” option.

Confirm: A stern warning message will appear, explaining that all associated takeoff data will be lost. You will need to confirm that you want to proceed.
Best Practice: If a classification is simply not needed for a project but you don’t want to lose the work, consider leaving it as is or moving it to an “Unused” folder instead of deleting it. Only delete if you are certain the classification and all its data are incorrect or no longer required.
