Re-Togaling lets you run Togal’s automated takeoff on a drawing again. This is useful when you want to (1) reuse the same AI-generated items for multiple takeoffs, or (2) start over on a sheet while keeping the work you already reclassified.
When to use Re-Togal?

Example: Use Net Area to assign a flooring classification first, then Re-Togal so Net Area appears again and you can assign it to a ceiling classification.Restart your takeoff workflow on a drawing after making changes.
What happens when you Re-Togal?
After you run the Togal button on a drawing, the button changes to Re-Togal.
If you have modified the original Togal classifications, these rules apply:
If a Togal classification was re-assigned, your changes will be saved.
For each re-assigned Togal classification, the original classification will be re-generated, resulting in a duplicate of the re-assigned classification.
Any Togal classifications that were not changed will remain as they are.
How to use the Re-Togal button?
Click the "Re-Togal" button. Similar to the Togal button, you can select to takeoff All Feature or Custom the specific items you need.
Wait for approx 10-15 seconds. The speed depends on the size of the drawings and internet speed.
Selected takeoff for the Area, Line, and Count items will be generated, preserving any previous re-classifications you made, as outlined by the rules above.
All the generated takeoffs will be automatically added to your drawings and the Quantities Panel. You can now re-classify them as needed and complete your takeoff.
