Text Search

Togal’s Text Search lets you find any word or phrase on a drawing. You can also convert search results into a Count classification, which is useful for counting repeated labels (for example, room types or tag text).

How to use text search?

1. To begin using the Text search select the magnifying glass symbol at the bottom of the left hand control menu.

2. A new menu will appear with an option to select between text or image search. Text search will already be selected by default, if not, choose the "Text" tab.

3. Type in the word or phrase you would like to search for. Once you have finished typing the characters you are looking for, hit "Enter" on your keyboard to begin the search.

4. Once the matching results are found, you will be able to convert the results into a Count Classification. You can either create a new classification or use an existing classification by scrolling through the list. Click on "Convert" and Togal will convert the text search into a count classification.

Tip: If Togal happens to pick up other words or phrases associated with the text, you can left click on the text to deselect it from the total count on the page.
