Area Classifications: how to create, draw & edit

To Create a new linear classification, go into the Quantities Tab menu, click the "+" symbol on the right side menu and select 'Create a Area Classification'.

Togal has a cutting-edge Manual Area takeoff tools. In order to create a new area classification you will need to be in the quantities tab menu.

You need to click the "+" symbol right beside the search bar on the right menu and click on "Create a Area Classification".

The editor will pop open and allow you to create a name for your classification.

You can select a wide arrangement of colors and patterns for each classification.

In addition you can have the ability to create multiple output data quantities for each area condition such as Perimeter, Volume and Tile Count.

NOTE

In order to use the Tile Count, you need to check the "Tile Grid" option at the bottom and input your tile sizes.

Click save and now you have created your own new Area condition! You now will be able to use this classification on the drawing.

To edit an existing area classification, right click on any existing area classification. A menu will appear and select "Edit". This will take you to the menu to edit the area classification.
