Linear Classifications: how to create, draw & edit

To create a new linear classification, open the quantities menu, click the "+" symbol on the right side menu and select "Create Linear Classification" .

To create a new linear classification:

  1. Open the Quantities Panel
  2. Click the "+" symbol right beside the search bar on the right menu 
    Add classification
  3. Select "Create Linear Classification".
  4. The editor will pop open and allow you to
    1. Create a name for your classification.
    2. Select from a wide array of colors for each classification.
    3. Create multiple output data quantities for each linear condition such as
      1. Vertical Area 1 Side (1 side of the vertical area of a wall)
      2. Vertical Area 2 Sides (Vertical area of both sides of the line)
      3. Vertical Area All Sides (Vertical area of both sides of the line and top & bottom)
      4. Horizontal Area
      5. Volume 
      6. Perimeter
  5. Click "Save" to create a linear classification that you can now use across the drawing.

To edit an existing linear classification:

  1. Right click on any existing linear classification to open a menu.
  2. Select "Edit" to the menu to reopen the editor.
  3. Make changes to the linear classification and click "Save".

Slope

You can specify height, width and slope. Slope impacts the length calculation only.
