Cut/Subtract tool is used to cut out a space within an existing area classification. To use the tool, hit the Cut/Subtract icon and begin outlining the space you would like to remove.
The Cut/Subtract tool allows you to cut out an area from an existing area classification.
In order to use the Cut/Subtract tool, select the area, click on the Cut/Subtract tool in the left hand menu or hit the shortcut key "C" and begin cutting out the area of the existing area classification.
You can Copy & Paste the cut area within the same classification by selecting the cut area, hitting Crtl + C on your keyboard to copy and then hitting Crtl+V in order to paste.
You can delete a Cut/Subtract area, by selecting the area and hitting the Delete key.
