The Merge tool

The Merge tool lets you easily and flexibly extend the dimensions of a polygon.

Tutorial Video

To use the tool:

  1. Select the polygon you want to extend. 
  2. Click "Merge", or hit M on the keyboard.
  3. Click within the original polygon and draw the shape you want to add to the original polygon.
  4. Double click to complete. The shape you drew will be added to the original polygon.
