      AI Pattern Search

      Togal's AI-based pattern search can find area polygons based on the specified pattern on your plans.

      Pattern Search represents the latest application of Togal's AI technology. This new capability facilitates the identification and creation of area polygons from specified patterns in construction plans.

      Note:  Pattern Search is currently available in a Beta version, indicating it is under active development with anticipated updates and improvements based on user feedback. Users are encouraged to explore the tool’s functionality and provide feedback for future enhancements.

      How to use pattern search:

      1. Click the the search icon (magnifying glass symbol) on the left-hand toolbar menu.
      2. Switch to the “Pattern” tab to engage the pattern search functionality.
      3. Now draw a box over the pattern/color you would like the AI to search and identify for you.
      4. Activate the tool by drawing a box around the pattern or color you wish the AI to identify within your plans.
      5. After the AI concludes its search, you have the option to deselect any incorrectly identified areas.
      6. The identified patterns can then be converted into an Area Classification, either by creating a new classification or by assigning to an existing one.

      Tips & Tricks to maximize pattern search effectiveness:

      • Applicability: Pattern search is ideal for analyzing a variety of construction documents, including flooring, ceiling, and elevation plans.

      • Density and Accuracy: The AI detects patterns with higher density more accurately. Denser patterns are easier for the system to identify.

      • Color for Sparse Patterns: For patterns that are more spread out, using the pattern’s color in the search criteria can improve the precision of the results.
