What's New

Release 3.2.0 introduces a collection of enhancements designed to enhance your workflow efficiency. This release includes intelligent takeoff resizing when copying between drawings, multi-tab synchronization in the Editor, customizable measurement precision settings, improvements to the Assemblies feature, and a significant revamp of the Drawing Navigator.

• Smart Takeoff Resizing: Takeoffs now automatically resize when copying between drawings with different page sizes or scales
• Multi-Tab Sync: Editor now synchronizes changes across multiple browser tabs in real-time
• Measurement Precision Control: New settings to customize fractional precision in measurement tooltips (up to 1/32")
• Panel Position Preferences: New settings to switch the position of the Quantities Panel on either the left or right side of the Editor

Feature Improvements

4. Refresh the canvas automatically after page rotation to reflect rotation immediately

• Quantities Panel Expansion: Classification names now expand first when resizing the panel, thus improving readability
• Export Progress Notifications: Large PDF exports now show page completion progress
• Large Export Support: PDF exports now reliably handle projects up to 5,000+ pages

Assembly Enhancements

• Edit Assemblies in the Editor: You can now edit and save assemblies directly within the Editor's Quantities Panel, including AI-generated assemblies, which are now clearly marked
• Duplicate Materials: With a single click, you can duplicate materials to speed up assembly creation
• Flexible Units of Measure: Use any unit of measure for non-quantity formulas in assembly components
• Real-Time Header Updates: Assembly header titles now update instantly as you type in the form
• Improved Material Modal Layout: Unit Cost and UOM fields are now visually separated for better clarity
• Smart Formula Input Sizing: Formula input fields now automatically size for better usability
• Required Value Prompts: Calculation properties no longer default to zero, prompting you to enter correct values
• Streamlined Export Columns: Removed redundant Component and Component Type columns from assembly exports

Togal Bug Fixes

• Fixed Library Search: Resolved no return of library results even when relevant items were present
• Fixed Classification Pattern Dropdown: Corrected duplicate pattern options that caused unexpected dropdown behavior
• Fixed Drag and Drop Cancellation: Items dragged from Library to Quantities Panel are no longer incorrectly dropped when released outside the drop zone
• Fixed Merge After Undo: Resolved issues where the Merge tool would not work correctly on polygons after using Undo
• Fixed View Persistence: View selection now properly persists when navigating between pages, even when the selected view is empty
