Release Notes - v.3.2.1 - February 18, 2026

Release 3.2.1 focused on improving project organization and overall stability. This update introduced Project Folders for better project management and includes a series of enhancements and fixes that refine the user experience.

Key highlights:

  • Enhanced Stability: Resolved numerous issues causing app freezes or crashes during takeoff and view switching, ensuring a smoother, more reliable experience.
  • Project Folders: Organize and manage your projects with custom folders on the Projects dashboard for cleaner project management.
  • Other Improvements: Added convenient new view settings (Show Only 3D view filter) and implemented many UI/UX tweaks and bug fixes for improved performance and consistency.

New Feature

Project Folders for Projects – Togal.AI now supports folder organization on the Projects page. Users can create and name folders to group related projects (either by client name or project phase, etc.) and keep your dashboard tidy.

You can easily move projects into folders and navigate between “select folder” views and the “All Projects” view. This updated navigation makes it intuitive to enter and exit folders; for example, clicking an “All Projects” option quickly takes you back to the full project list.

Project Folders empower teams to manage large numbers of projects with ease, providing clarity and structure to your project dashboard.

Improvements

  • 3D View Filter: Added a new “Show Only 3D” toggle in User Settings that hides 2D-only takeoffs when in 3D mode, so you see only the 3D-rendered elements. This helps you focus on 3D content without 2D items cluttering the view.

  • Editor & Quantities Panel Sync: The Editor and Quantities Panel now stay in lockstep. When you hide or delete a classification on the drawing, the change instantly reflects in the Quantities Panel (and vice versa), ensuring consistency between views. This also fixes prior issues with Aerial takeoffs and other classifications not updating properly across the two panels.

  • Project Folder Navigation: Improved the Projects dashboard UI for folders. It’s now more intuitive to navigate in and out of project folders – for example, returning to the full project list from within a folder is simpler and mimics the behavior used in Sets. In addition, validation messages for folder names are clearer (e.g. a warning for names under the 3-character minimum). These tweaks make managing Project Folders more user-friendly.
  • Performance Enhancements: Made behind-the-scenes optimizations to eliminate lag and freezing when performing certain actions. For instance, zooming in on a drawing while tiles are still loading is now smooth and no longer causes the editor to hang. Users will notice more responsive interactions, even on large drawings or projects.

Togal Bug Fixes

  • UI and Display Fixes: Resolved several interface quirks to improve clarity.
    • Image search results now appear with the correct coloration (no longer gray or appearing unselected).
    • Eliminated a white artifact that would sometimes flash at the bottom of the screen while pages were loading.
    • Tooltip colors and icons are now consistent – for example, user avatars in the activity feed display the correct colors on hover. We also corrected an error message when naming project folders: the app now shows the appropriate minimum-length warning instead of an unrelated 128-character message.
    • The organization switcher dropdown is fixed for admin users and will no longer disappear unexpectedly.

  • Takeoff and View Stability: Addressed several issues that caused crashes or inconsistent behavior during takeoff and view changes.
    • We fixed a rare case where Togal could freeze or crash when switching from 3D back to 2D view.
    • Navigation between drawings with map imagery is now solid – no more crashing when moving from a map-based drawing to another page with takeoffs.
    • We resolved an issue that could cause the editor to lag or freeze if you zoomed in rapidly while a drawing was still loading. These fixes ensure a more stable experience when working across 2D, 3D, and map views.

  • Search and Classification Corrections: Fixed bugs affecting search and classification consistency.
    • The search feature now reliably zooms in on each found result on a drawing. Previously, only the first result would auto-zoom, and subsequent matches did not.
    • Converting text search results into classifications across multiple pages works as expected; the Convert button now remains active on all pages, so you can continue converting on subsequent drawings without issue.
    • We also restored the help tooltips (question mark icons) in the Classification Properties modal, and they once again show the expected hints and information when hovered.
    • Classification layer visibility is accurate: if all layers are turned on, the Quantities Panel will correctly show them as active (no more false “layers off” indication).
