Togal's Quantities Panel (Quantities List)

The Quantities panel lets you view takeoff quantities and classifications, toggle classifications in the drawing editor, organize them into groups, sort/filter, and search for specific classifications.

To use the quantities panel:

  • Easily toggle visibility for all items in a classification.
    • Each Classification and Classification Group has a circle symbol. Left-click the symbol to show the layer (a checkmark will appear), and click again to turn it off.Checkbox
    • To focus on a single classification or group, hold "Ctrl" and left-click its circle symbol to isolate it. Click again with "Ctrl" to restore the full view.
    • To activate all classifications at once, hold "Ctrl" and left-click any already isolated classification or group.
    • You can also apply these actions to Classification Groups as you would for individual classifications.
  • Click the classification icon to begin drawing with it.Icon
  • To select all the polygons associated with a classification, left-click on the classification name, and the system will automatically select all the polygons. 
    • If you want to select a individual polygon within the classification, click on the chevron icon to expand the classification to view all the classification items.

  • Click the chevron icon to view the hierarchy of classification groups.
    • Expand a classification by clicking the chevron to see individual items or quantities within it. You can reassign items directly from the Quantities panel at this level by right-clicking on the item and using the menu that opens.
  • The Search bar lets you quickly filter and locate specific classifications by name. It makes it easy to isolate classifications or to toggle classification layers on and off, especially when working with multiple groups containing various classifications. Togal will instantly apply a visual filter on the canvas, displaying only the classification you are looking for.

  • Sort allows you to organize your classifications and groups by different categories, for example alphabetically.
