Our AI currently automates the following takeoff for architectural floor plans and reflected ceiling plans (RCP's):
- Footprint - the total Gross Square Footage (GSF) of the floor/ceiling
- Gross Area (incl walls) - similar to the footprint, but broken down into individual rooms including the areas under the walls
- Net Areas (excl walls) - the Net Square Footage (NSF) of all the individual rooms excluding the areas under the walls
- Lines - linear footage of all the walls shown on the drawings
- Counts - counts the following pre-determined conditions: doors, plumbing fixtures, appliances, furniture.
How to use the Togal button:
- Before automated takeoff, create your project, upload and name your drawings.
- Ensure the scale has been set correctly.
- Click the "Togal" button and wait for approx 10-15 seconds. The speed depends on the size of the drawings and internet speed.
- The types of takeoff we currently support will be automatically added to your drawings and the quantity panel. You can now classify these and complete your takeoff.
Tip: You can filter out which automated takeoff you want Togal to perform by selecting the boxes you need.
