From the Dashboard, click the "Library" Tab in order to build a Library Set. Once you create a Set, you will be able to further build on it with "Classification Groups" (Folders of Classifications) or individual classifications.
In Togal, we make it easy for our users to setup and continuously maintain a library of classifications to be used across multiple projects. We allow our users to build out their Library from the Library Main Menu and directly within the Drawing editor. Allowing you to keep on maintaining and updating your library even while working within a project.
In addition, we allow our users to create two types of libraries within Togal:
1. Organization Library - This is a library for a whole organization and can be shared with all users within a company.
NOTE: A user must have Admin Permission in order to have access to create and maintain a Organization library
2. Private Library - This is a private library for a single individual. No other member from the organization will be able to view or have access to this library.
Here are the steps in order to create a library in Togal:
These steps are the same whether you're creating a Organization or Private Library
1. To create the library, simply navigate to the Library Menu.
The "Set" is just the general name of a library in Togal. Users are able to create multiple "Sets" within the library for their business needs. (Ex. Construction Types, Construction Design Levels, CSI Cost Code Library, Uniformat Code Library, etc.
2. Click on "Create new Set" to begin building your Library Set and name your Library Set. Now select to create a Library for the Organization or Private and click Create.
3. Click "Add Group" in order to create a folder structure or you can begin creating classifications in the set by clicking "Add Classification"
Any library you create in Togal is accessible in the Editor. You can use these Classification for perform a manual takeoff or re-classify the AI takeoff.
